This home was designed to prove one thing: you don’t have to choose between rural living and modern conveniences, performance, or entertainment
Built from the ground up, this project blends the warmth of country construction with enterprise-grade technology hidden seamlessly behind the walls.

involves building a home with a metal barn-like shell, combining rustic barn aesthetics with modern living, typically featuring steel frames, high ceilings, and open layouts, often built over a concrete slab foundation. Costs vary widely, from basic shells around $20-$60/sq ft to finished luxury homes at $150-$400+/sq ft, depending on finishes

Modern construction science focuses on systems thinking — recognizing that a home is an interconnected environment, not isolated trades.
Technology infrastructure is treated as a permanent building system, like plumbing or HVAC
This ensures the home performs well thermally, electrically, and digitally.

The final design of this home was guided by one simple goal: create a space where timeless design and modern technology coexist without fighting each other.
From the outside, it feels warm, calm, and intentional — a home that fits the landscape and the life happening inside it.
From the inside, every finish, line, and material was chosen to feel clean, durable, and comfortable, not trendy or overdone.
This is a house meant to be lived in, not constantly updated.

Thermally, the home is anchored by a geothermal heating and cooling system paired with dedicated HVAC zones, allowing each area to be conditioned based on how it’s actually used. Google Nest thermostats manage each zone intelligently, reducing energy waste while maintaining consistent comfort throughout the year.

Electrically, power distribution was designed with resilience in mind. Circuits are intentionally planned, critical loads are clearly defined, and the system is supported by a standby generator backup to keep essential functions running during outages. This ensures that heating and cooling controls, networking, security, refrigeration, and lighting remain operational when they matter most.

Behind the walls, a structured network provides high-speed, low-latency connectivity to every part of the home. A centralized server space, 10-gigabit backbone (Cat6A) ensure that Wi-Fi, audio, security, and automation systems perform consistently without interference or bottlenecks.
Internet provider is Starlink, highspeed (400+/mbs) from the sky!
